About Me
I’m CJ Mattia, a creative producer, exhibition technologist, and media artist.
I earned both my BFA and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), where I developed a love for experimental and commercial production alike. Since then, I’ve worked across every stage of production on sets ranging from intimate indie projects to major commercial gigs for brands like Kraft and Lambda, shooting, editing, illustrating, animating, and designing. I’ve worked in-house, taught, and even hot-seated in courtrooms. I manage technology and help translate artistic visions through the realities and limitations of physical space.
My love of experiential design, video, and new media provides an avenue for my AV and tech know-how and my artistic practice to come together and create immersive experiences from start to end. Let’s take a journey together.
